local harvest: sustainable food in australia

I'm kind of in love the Local Harvest website. It's all about sourcing food locally and ethically, be that home grown, swapped or purchased. It's a great site to visit to help you to source your own food more sustainably. Some of the features on the site include:

• A map of ethical food sources (co-ops, markets, stores), which you can narrow down to your post code (hence "Local" Harvest!)
• Hints for buying food
• Hints for growing & making your own food (including making beer & cheese!)
• Stories of people who are walking the talk (including "meeting" ethical farmers)
• A self-directed challenge for those wanting to take a new step toward increasing the quantity of food sourced locally (join others in the first week of April 2012!)
