I miss my steam mop. I only had it for a couple of months before I spilled water on the motor and broke it, but still. (By the way, mum, if you're reading this, I'm sorry I broke your steam mop)
It was amazing for cleaning the kitchen floor, which just gets so unbelievably grotty. A regular mop and bucket has never done the job well.
I miss my steam mop so much that I haven't been able to bring myself to clean the kitchen floor since I broke it. That was over a month ago.
When will the grieving end?
I'm not interested in a quick rebound. I've had a taste of something good- something economical, chemical free and effective. I'm thinking about my options, and while, as I've made clear already, I miss my steam mop like flowers miss the sun, I'd like to see if there's a better long term option out there (keeping in mind I'd likely another steam mop could perish at my clumsy hands).
Tell me, who is your kitchen-floor-cleaning-partner? What would you recommend for a fallen domestic goddess?
Oh no.... not the steam mop, sounds like you used more than I ever did. I only tried it twice. No worries, glad you got some use out of it. I will put out message to some of my friends who might have one that they want to give away!
ReplyDeleteI think I may have only used it once or twice more than you before I broke it! It's so sad thinking about cleaning the floors any other way!
