Until recently, the window sill in our loo adorned a pyramid of toilet rolls. After 5 years the sill was retired for a toilet roll holder (#grownups). Poor 'Sill was looking lonely, so I've given him a few new pot plants to keep him company. And because I know you care, I've thought I'd post a couple of photos. I painted the bright pots recently after loving on the mass of geometric goodness floating around etsy and pinterest.
It got me thinking... "Do others adorn their loo as I do?"
Time to spill in this safe space... Do you decorate your loo? Does yours host a stash of magazines or novels? Or, do you keep it simple?
xx
love!
ReplyDeletewe don't have a sill... we have a basket for the rolls and we have a 'potty' in there as well lol! I like going into loos where there are interesting things to look at on the back of the door. I'm not one for hand held reading material to be stored in there though...
Same- I'm not into things that every visitor can touch!
DeleteWe have an empty can of Glen 20 and a can of Glade "Fresh Linen" air freshener. I used to have a little lucky bamboo plant on the sill, but it died :-(
ReplyDeleteOne of these days, I will funky it up! We really need an interesting back of the door thing!
Oh you'll need to get yourself another bamboo plant, that would have been lovely! I think it could be very cool to have a big framed print on the back wall in a loo, just to make things more interesting, without inviting people to sit and read for a while! (But that's just me!)
DeleteIn our ensuite I have a can of jasmine room spray and shower radio that I bought a certain young lady and she didn't want it... now I can't have a shower without it. I Don't know what is the other loo cos I never use it! tee hee ! just checked it and and only the bottom venitian blind sitting on the window sill!
