Yes. It is a meat safe. It was my great-grandfathers, then my fathers, and now mine. I'm currently sanding off the chipping paint and am planning a bit of a de-rust and makeover to use in the kitchen to store our spices and Kym's collection of hot sauce (not a euphemism). But, knowing how long I can take to complete a project I thought I'd show you some of the inspiration I'm getting from the world wide interwebs...
