Remember this post? Well, I'm one step closer to achieving my resolution to live a more sustainable lifestyle. This week, Kym and I paid our deposit to have solar panels installed at our home. I. am. stoked.
We've decided to go through Solar Shop Australia because, true to their name, they specialize in all things solar, they've been around for yonks and they really know what they're talking about. To top it off they are very reasonably priced, with a few different payment options.
We're getting a 2.1 kw system which will cover our energy consumption. The savings will take about 8 years to 'make up' for the cost.
Watch this space. I'll keep you posted on the progress.

well that has got to be THE purchase of the year and I am glad to hear it only takes 8 years because I heard once it takes 25!
